In July of 2018, Marino announced his plans to open Peter Marino Arts Foundation in Southampton. He purchased and intends to restore the former Rogers Memorial Library at 11 Jobs Lane.
Marino is also a member of the board of directors of the Venetian Heritage Foundation and the International Committee of L’Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs. He holds an architecture degree froom Cornell University and began his career at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, George Nelson and I.M. Pei/Cossutta & Ponte.
Peter Marino Architect has received numerous prestigious industry awards including 22 citations from the American Institute of Architects for architetural design excellence.
