Infinity des Lumières is not a typical art gallery, but it promises to take one in an immersive and unforgettable experience through some of the world’s most famous artworks. Now open at the Dubai Mall, this is the largest digital art gallery of GCC, and Daily Design News is giving you a sneak peek of this groundbreaking artistic concept!
Opened on June 26, this is a great chance for art lovers to immerse themselves in artworks from distinguished artists, like the famous Van Gogh paintings. 2700sqm of the Dubai Mall house is now one of the biggest art shows and digital art gallery in the world.
This digital art gallery is a collaboration between UAE-based InfinityArt and France’s Culturespaces Digital, specialists in immersive sound and art shows. The star of this exhibition is a 200 square meter art projection – the biggest of its kind!
Visitors will step inside a multi-sensory journey, where famous artworks are reimagined and turned into digitally animated shows of light, shades, sound, movement, flow, and rhythm! The goal is to take guests in a one-of-a-kind experience to elevate the appreciation of art and artists.
130 projectors, 58 speakers, and 3 000 HD digital moving images bring to life iconic and modern art, allowing guests to walk around through some of the displays of the most popular artworks of all time. Currently, there are three exhibitions in Dubai’s digital art gallery: Van Gogh, Dreamed Japan, and Verse. Van Gogh takes one into the artist’s most famous works, like Sunflowers (1888) and Starry Night (1889); In Dreamed Japan, the poetically beautiful era of 19th century Japan swims around guests, combining Hokusai’s portraits with landscapes and marvels of the sea. And last but not least, the third exhibition, Verse is a sensorial delight over a range of media and genres. Verse’s whirling extravaganza of images showcases the magical beauty of the cosmos, amplified by the harmonies of an orchestral piece composed with Jonathan Fitas.
