What is Design Mexico?
Design Week Mexico is an organization that promotes and contributes to the local design scene since 2009, through a program generally carried out in October and November, with exhibitions and events focused on design, in addition to state and country samples, which change every year.
Thus, Design Week Mexico has created a creative community in which actors from the cultural, educational, commercial, and institutional fields of the country participate. It is worth mentioning that in 2018, Mexico City was the World Capital of Design, under the theme of socially responsible design.

How and when Design Week Mexico 2021?
This year’s edition of Design Week Mexico will take place from October 6 to 31, with a hybrid format that will include both face-to-face events, as well as digital projects and a new commercial platform, Design Market, with 28 Mexican brands offering more than 173 products.
It is worth mentioning that, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, face-to-face events will have strict sanitation measures and limited capacity, to protect visitors and event organizers.

What will the Design Week Mexico program be like?
This year’s program will include exhibitions that are a tradition within this event, such as Inédito, Design House, Pabellón, among others.
Inédito
Dates: October 14 to February 6 Espacio CDMX Arquitectura y Diseño will host Inédito, an open call for utilitarian design projects never before released, with the participation of students and professionals in different categories.
Design House
Dates: October 6 to 31 With Av. De las Palmas 990 as headquarters, Design House is a project in which a collaborative intervention of a house is carried out that is restored and remodeled by professionals in architecture, interior design, design, and landscaping.
Vision and Tradition
Dates: October 20 to November 20 With the National Museum of Anthropology as its headquarters, Vision and Tradition intends to promote collaborative work between artisans and designers with a spirit of learning and mutual exchange, hand in hand with different states of the republic.

Design Content
Dates: October 16 and 17 Design Content will take place in Lincoln Park an ephemeral installation of 20 temporary showrooms of a select sample of the work of contemporary Mexican designers, forming a popular urban fair.
Pavilion
Dates: October 7 to December 31 Pavilion will be held at the National Museum of Art, by the office C Cúbica Arquitectos, to generate various critical aesthetic questions about our present time.
Clock Tower
Dates: October 14 to 31 The Clock Tower Gallery in Lincoln Park will host a series of art, design, or architecture exhibitions, as well as an exhibition by Ensamble Artesano, a platform of 36 allied organizations that promote local commerce. , fair and responsible.
Design Market
