Villa Walala by Camille Walala
Villa Walala is an exuberantly colorful and unexpected architectural landscape in Exchange Square, Broadgate. Constructed from vinyl, sealed PVC inners, and high-strength nylon, it is a ‘soft-textured building-block castle’ covered and colored with digitally printed patterns. The component shapes are pinned to the ground and inflated by fans, transforming them from flat forms into a vast and immersive temporary island of shape and color that begs to be explored, invites playfulness, relieves stress, and visually dominates the area.
Decorex International 2017
Decorex, the UK’s leading destination for interior design, will take place this September on the historic grounds of Syon Park, as the opening event of the London Design Festival. Featuring more than 400 of the most recognized and emerging exhibitor’s worldwide, including rising numbers of new participants, this esteemed event is the only one of its kind for the high-end interiors market.
