In January, the event returns to Paris’s Nord Villepinte, from the 19th to the 23rd, and it promises to inspire its attendants with new trends, designs and concepts. The Maison et Objet 2018 campaign logo was designed by Paris’s own graphic design studio Be-Pôles, improving the trade show’s visual identity using a gradient of green.

Like in the previous editions, the world-renown event has already released the winner of the Designer of the Year Award, as the honour goes to the versatile Dutch designer Cecilie Manz. The designer is always testing new concepts and designs, and, in January, she will present us her work. Her exhibition will feature her products and her new designs, displayed in a warm and cosy environment, a theme present in all of the designer’s creations.

The acclaimed Agence Nelly Rodi is set to design the Inspirations Space and the Bookshop-Café following the concept of Show-Room.

The concept developed as the result of the investigations conducted by Nelly Rodi‘s team of consultants on a variety of social, industry and marketing topics.

Furthermore, the Rising Talent Award has been announced. Federica Biasi, Antonio Facco, Marco Lavit Nicora, Kensaku Oshiro, Federico Peri and Guglielmo Poletti will be the six Italian designers honoured at the event. Each designer was nominated by influential figures of the industry: Andrea Branzi, Giulio Cappellini, Rosita Missoni, Piero Lissoni, Luca Nichetto, and Rossana Orlandi, respectively.
