Switzerland is full of majestic architecture projects, but unfortunately this country is known only by projects like Cern, the Red Cross Museum, the lakes, the trains and so on… But, if you think Switzerland it’s only what we mentioned before you are terribly wrong! Those are excellent reasons to visit Switzerland of course but this amazing country is also filled with awesome modern architecture, there are several impressive medieval buildings that form a beautiful collection of major architectural projects. Fiore di Pietra, Monte Generoso

Monte Generoso is placed in the middle of a natural park, the Fiore di Pietra means Stone Flower, the building surely reminds us of a flower. It was made by Mario Botta, I was responsible not only for the structure and also the interior design. It was not easy to build an entire structure 1,700 above sea level but they made it!

Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern

This intriguing museum is located in Bern, it was a very complex project that took long time to be built. It was made by Renzo Piano and is wave shape attracts us from the beginning. The building beautifully blends with the surrounding landscape in a organic way.

Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, Mogno

The Church of San Giovanni Battista is in the alpine village of Mogno. It was built between 1994 and 1996 in order to replace an older church that was destroyed by an avalanche in 1986. The architect was Mario Botta that used materials like marble and granite.
