The USA’s First Lady Melania Trump has revealed the long-awaited 2017 White House Christmas decorations and… it’s pretty impressive!
Like thousands of people around the world, Daily Design News‘ editors also look forward to the Christmas Decoration at the most famous house on the planet be unveiled. As tradition dictates, every year the White House is filled with all kind of joyful holiday decorations. Counting on with a team of volunteers from across the country that get together, working hard to finish on time the long-awaited Christmas decoration.
The chosen theme for this year was “Time Honored Traditions“, featuring 18,000 feet of Christmas lights, 71 wreaths, a 350-pound Gingerbread house, and 53 Christmas trees with over 12,000 ornaments. Continuing an annual tradition for over 45 years, the White House Crèche — an 18th-century terracotta and wood nativity scene — is also displayed in the East Room.
